STORAGE
Before each use, you should thoroughly brush out any spray and styling residue. Never allow your training head to dry without careful combing and do not expose it to excessive heat or cold for long periods of time. Do not leave rollers on your training head for longer than necessary, as the permanent tension can loosen the hair. Avoid storing your training head with wet hair in plastic bags.
CLEANING & CARE
Wash the hair of your training head in the direction of fall with a non-alkaline shampoo and lukewarm water. Avoid strong pulling and rubbing, as the hair was implanted by hand. Rinse out the shampoo residue thoroughly and then treat the hair with a conditioner or finishing treatment. Comb through the hair with a wide-tooth comb and squeeze out any residual moisture with a towel. A slight loss of hair is harmless when combing through.
CHEMICAL TREATMENTS
Please note that the hair on your training head may already have been chemically treated. Our training heads with human hair (goat and horse hair is also clearly defined and labeled by us) may differ in result from those with 100% human hair. Test strands are recommended to get a preview of the results of chemical treatments.
COLORING
The hair on our training heads can be dyed with all standard hair dyes and direct dyes. Protect the skin of your training head from color by using a skin protection cream and carefully covering the contour area. If color does get on the skin, it must be removed immediately. The use of heat appliances in conjunction with oxidative colors should be avoided. Bleaching hair that is already light blonde is not recommended.
RESHAPING
Training heads can be treated with any commercially available reshaping product. Use products that are recommended for colored and damaged hair. Chemical reshaping of training heads with lightened and extra long hair is not recommended. Our training heads with synthetic hair as well as with natural hair/synthetic hair mix are not suitable for reshaping and perming.
SYNTHETIC HAIR & NATURAL HAIR / SYNTHETIC HAIR MIX
A maximum temperature of 120° Celsius is recommended for styling these training heads. Training heads with natural hair/synthetic hair mix can be dyed darker to a certain extent.
