USING THE UNIT
Description

Preparation
Put the power plug (3) into a wall outlet.
▷ Place the power supply cord so that no one will trip over it.
▷ Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

Turning the unit on and off:
On/OFF: Press the "ON/OFF" button (2).
Temperature:
An optimal and constant operating temperature is guaranteed after a preheating time of about 2 - 3 minutes.

Application:
1. Part the hair. The strands should be of equal thickness and no wider than 3 to a maximum of 5 cm. If too many hairs are taken at once, the heat will not penetrate to all of them.
2. Hold the strand at the tips and wind it on the heater. Then wait about 10 seconds for the heat to fully develop.
3. Be sure to lay the unit down with the storage stand folded out as long as the unit is heating up or already hot. This will also prevent the unit from slipping and damaging the storage surface.

▷ We recommend using a heat-protective glove.
▷ This unit is not suitable for use on synthetic hair.

CLEANING, CARE, MAINTENANCE
▷ Before maintenance, turn off and unplug the unit.
▷ Clean only when cooled!

Cleaning the unit:
Wipe the unit with a damp (not wet) cloth. Make
sure that no liquid enters the interior of the housing. Then
dry with a clean cloth.

Storage:
Make sure that the device is protected from dust and other environmental influences.

Spare parts
Use only original spare parts that can be ordered from the EFALOCK service partner.
