The appliance must be used exclusively for straightening human hair. The device is designed for indoor use only. The appliance is designed for professional use in hair salons.

Electrical shock:
- Unplug the appliance after use.
- Keep the appliance away from moisture, water and other liquids.
- Do not use the appliance in the bathtub, in the shower, over a sink filled with water, or with wet hands.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not touch an appliance that has been in contact with water - unplug immediately.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. Immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains and inform EFALOCK customer service.
- For cleaning, care and maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the mains.
WARNING:
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, sinks or other vessels,
that contain water.
CAUTION!
To limit the risk of fire:
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is on.
- Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool under supervision.
Injury to persons:
- Careful supervision is required when the appliance is used with/for/or near children or disabled persons.
- The appliance generates a heat of approximately 200 °C (392 °F). The heating elements are protected by a protective rubber coating. This must not be removed, otherwise there is a risk of burns. If the protective rubber coating is damaged, immediately disconnect the power plug and inform the service.
Ingestion of small parts:
- Keep the device out of reach of children. Also keep the packaging material, such as foils, away from children.
Property damage:
- The device may only be operated with the original power supply.
- Do not expose the device to temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C for a long time.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- The device must not be used for purposes other than those for which it was intended.
- Repairs may only be carried out by an authorized customer service.
- No spare parts may be used that were not recommended or sold by the seller.
- Protect the connecting cable from damage. Never pull on the connecting cord.
- Never leave the cord coiled while in use to prevent heat generation.

Persons (including children) who, because of their physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or their inexperience or lack of knowledge, are unable to use this appliance safely should not use this appliance without supervision or instruction by a responsible
person. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the equipment. For additional protection, it is recommended that a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current rating of not more than 30 mA be installed in the bathroom circuit. Ask your plumber for advice.
