Battery charging
There is a lithium-ion battery in this device. When the unit
is shipped, it is not yet ready for battery operation. Fully charge
the unit before using it for the first time. After a few charging cycles
the battery will only reach its full capacity. After the first charging
the device can be used wirelessly.
Charging with the charging station:
1. Make sure the charging station is on a level surface. Insert
the adapter into the charging cradle.
2. Insert the adapter into a working power outlet.
3. Insert the powered-off device into the charging cradle.
To charge the device without the charging cradle, use the supplied
power adapter.
▷ Place the power adapter cord so that no one will trip over it.
▷ Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
 

Turning the unit
on and off
Press the on/off switch (2).
 

Cutting length adjustment
Top comb:
Slide the comb attachment into the notches located on both sides of the
cutting head until it reaches a fixed
position. To remove, press from the front
on either side of the comb attachment.
LED Indicator
 

Battery Charge Level Indicator:
▷ Check the battery level before each use. Charge the battery when
low before each use.

CLEANING, CARE, MAINTENANCE
▷ Before maintenance, turn off the power and disconnect the
unit from the mains.
Cleaning the unit
Wipe the unit occasionally with a damp (not wet) cloth.
Then dry with a clean cloth.
 

Cleaning the cutting head

1. Removing the cutting head:
Hold the hair clipper with one hand facing
up and push down the blade with your thumb as shown in the figure
above (1). Take the blade in the other hand to prevent it from
falling down.
2. Maintenance of the clipper head:
Press and hold the top of the blade (2). Use the
cleaning brush to remove hair from between the top blades. Keep
the clipper tilted towards the floor to prevent
oil from running into the motor. Use 1-2 drops of lubricating oil at the points shown in
figure (3).
3: Inserting the cutting head:
Hold the hair clipper with one hand facing
down and place the bottom of the blade so that its center fits against the
hair clipper. Press the front of the blade down
until it clicks into place (4).
 

Storage
If you will not be using the unit for an extended period of time, store it only in a charged
state. It should be stored in a cool and dry place. If the device
will not be used for a longer period of time, store it at a battery level of about 40%
. Make sure the device is
protected from dust and other environmental influences.

Before using the NXT pro hair clipper,
check that the
appliance's amperage setting matches the outlet. When using
electrical equipment - especially when children are in the
proximity - basic safety precautions must
be observed.
Intended use: The device must
be used exclusively for cutting human hair
. The device is designed for indoor use only. The appliance is designed for
professional use in a hair salon.
All safety instructions should be read carefully before
use.
 

CAUTION!
Electrical shock:
- Unplug the appliance after use.
- Keep the appliance away from moisture, water and
other liquids.
- Do not use the device in the bathtub, in the shower,
over a sink filled with water, or with
wet hands.
- Do not submerge or rinse
the device under water.
- Do not use the device if it has fallen into
water. Do not touch an appliance that has come into
contact with water - unplug the appliance immediately.
- For cleaning, care and maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from
the mains.
- If an
error occurs during charging or corded operation, disconnect the appliance from the mains immediately.
- Do not use the appliance if the
hair clipper, cutting head, battery,
charging base or connecting cord are damaged.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains immediately and inform
EFALOCK customer service.
 

WARNING:
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
washbasins or other vessels,
that contain water.
 

CAUTION!
Danger of injury from the cutting head:
- Do not reach into or
the cutting head when the unit is turned on.
- Turn off the unit when you
put it out of your hand or when you attach or
remove a comb attachment.
Swallowing of small parts:
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Also keep the packaging material, such as foils
away from children.
Property damage:
- The device may only be operated
with the original power supply.
- Do not expose the device to temperatures
below 0°C or above 40°C for a longer period of time.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- The device may not be used for any other purpose.
- Repairs may only be carried out by an authorized
customer service.
- Do not use spare parts that are not
recommended or sold by the seller.
- Protect the connecting cable from damage.
Never pull on the connecting cable.
- Never leave the cable coiled up while
you have the device in use so that there is no
heat generation.
- The cutting head is a precision part. Protect it
from damage.
- Do not disassemble the cutting head.
- Never try to remove dust and foreign objects from inside the device with a
pointed object.
- Protect the device, especially the cutting head
from dust exposure.
- Store the device properly and protect the
device when transporting it in a means of transport suitable for lithium-ion batteries
.
 

NOTICE!
Persons (including children) who, because of their
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
their inexperience or lack of knowledge, are unable to use
the device safely should not
use this device without supervision or instruction by a responsible
person. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
 

NOTE!
For additional protection, installation of a
fault current protective device (RCD) with a
rated tripping current of not more than 30 mA in the
bathroom circuit is recommended. Consult your installer for advice.

DISPOSAL
This appliance is marked in accordance with Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE). This electrical equipment must not be disposed of in the residual waste garbage can at
the end of its life,
but must be taken to a collection point for the recycling of
electronic equipment. This also applies to electrical equipment that
last used in the non-private sector, but e.g. in trade or craft,
used. Insofar as the acceptance of non-privately used electrical appliances
has been excluded by the responsible local public disposal
facilities, their waste advice center will provide information on
environmentally sound disposal.
