IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: ▷ Read all instructions and safety information carefully before operating the equipment and keep this manual. ▷ Check the complete product during initial commissioning. ▷ Intended use: This device is only suitable for shaving human hair. ▷ The appliance is designed for indoor use only and has been developed for professional use in a hairdressing salon. ▷ Before using the appliance, check that the power setting of the appliance matches the power outlet. When using electrical equipment - especially when children are around - basic safety precautions must be observed. Caution. Electric shock: Do not operate the device with wet hands. Do not rinse it under running water. If the machine overheats, you should stop using it and allow the machine to cool down. Immediately unplug the machine after use. Keep the machine away from moisture, water and other liquids. Do not use the machine in the bathtub, in the shower, over a sink filled with water, or with wet hands. Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. Do not touch a device that has come into contact with water - unplug it immediately. The device must be disconnected from the mains for cleaning, care and maintenance. Do not use the device if the connection cable is damaged. Disconnect the device from the mains immediately and inform EFALOCK customer service. Always insert the plug into the device first and only then into the socket. WARNING: Do not use this device near bathtubs, sinks or other vessels containing water. Ingestion of small parts: Keep the device out of reach of children. Also keep the packaging material, such as foils, away from children. Damage to property and personal injury: Warning! Risk of injury from sharp knives! Never reach into the cutting blades while the device is in operation. Protect the battery from mechanical damage. Fire hazard! Only charge the battery, which is permanently installed in the unit, with the original accessories. Never put down the running device. Always switch off the unit when interrupting the cutting process. Warning! Health hazard due to maintenance oil! Keep the filled oil bottle out of reach of children. Do not swallow! No eye contact. Dispose of empty. If electrolyte solution leaks from the battery, avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. Immediately flush affected areas with plenty of clear water and seek medical attention. The device contains a Li-ion battery. Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on. Caring supervision is required when the device is used at / for / or near children or disabled persons. Do not use spare parts that are not recommended or sold by the vendor. If the device does not work properly, has been dropped, damaged or dropped into water, do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs may only be performed by an authorized service center. Never allow the product to come into contact with chemicals, hair dye or hair color. Never try to remove dust and foreign objects from inside the device with a pointed object. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. The device contains a Li-ion battery. ▷ The battery cannot be removed! ▷ This device must not be opened! ▷ The device must be disposed of properly together with the installed battery. DISPOSAL This device is marked in accordance with the Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment(WEEE). This electrical device must not be disposed of in the residual waste garbage can at the end of its service life. It should either be taken to a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment or, returned to the distributor. This also applies to electrical equipment that was last used in a non-private sector, e.g. in trade or industry. If the acceptance of non-privately used electrical equipment has been excluded by the responsible local public waste disposal facilities, their waste advice center will provide information on environmentally sound disposal. The symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging indicates this. The materials are recyclable according to their marking. The reuse, recycling or other forms of recovery of old devices make an important contribution to protecting the environment.
