USING THE DEVICE
Description:

charging the battery
In this device, there is a lithium-ion battery. When the unit
is shipped, it is not yet ready for battery operation. Fully charge
the unit before using it for the first time. After a few charging cycles
the battery will only reach its full capacity. After the first charge
the device can be used wirelessly.
Charging with the charging station:
1. Make sure the charging station is on a level surface. Insert
the adapter into the charging cradle.
2. Insert the adapter into a working power outlet.
3. Insert the powered-off device into the charging cradle.
To charge the device without the charging cradle, use the supplied
power adapter.
▷ Place the power adapter cord so that no one will trip over it.
▷ Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

Turning the unit
on and off
Press the on/off switch (2).
Cutting length adjustment
Take-up comb:
Slide the comb attachment into the notches located on both sides of the
cutting head until it reaches a fixed
position. To remove, press from the front
on either side of the comb attachment.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE, STORAGE
▷ Before maintenance, turn the unit off and disconnect it
from AC power.
Cleaning the unit
Wipe the unit occasionally with a damp (not wet) cloth.
Then dry with a clean cloth.

Cleaning the clipper head
1. Removing the clipper head:
Hold the hair clipper with one hand facing
up and push down the blade with your thumb as shown in the figure
above (1). Take the blade in the other hand to prevent it from
falling down.
2. Maintenance of the clipper head:
Press and hold the top of the blade (2). Use the
cleaning brush to remove hair from between the top blades. Keep
the clipper tilted towards the floor to prevent
oil from running into the motor. Use 1-2 drops of lubricating oil at the points shown in
figure (3).
3. Inserting the cutting head:
Hold the hair clipper with one hand facing
down and place the bottom of the blade so that its center fits against the
hair clipper. Press the front of the blade down
until it clicks into place (4).

Storage
If you will not be using the unit for an extended period of time, store it only in a charged
state. It should be stored in a cool and dry place. If the device
will not be used for a longer period of time, store it at a battery level of about 40%
. Make sure that the device is
protected from dust and other environmental influences.

The device must be disconnected from the mains for cleaning, care and maintenance. Do not use the device if the connection cable is damaged. Disconnect the device from the mains immediately and inform EFALOCK customer service. Always insert the plug into the device first and only then into the socket. WARNING: Do not use this device near bathtubs, sinks or other vessels containing water. Ingestion of small parts: Keep the device out of reach of children. Also keep the packaging material, such as foils, away from children. Damage to property and personal injury: Warning! Risk of injury from sharp knives! Never reach into the cutting blades while the device is in operation. Protect the battery from mechanical damage. Fire hazard! Only charge the battery, which is permanently installed in the unit, with the original accessories. Never put down the running device. Always switch off the unit when interrupting the cutting process. Warning! Health hazard due to maintenance oil! Keep the filled oil bottle out of reach of children. Do not swallow! No eye contact. Dispose of empty. If electrolyte solution leaks from the battery, avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. Immediately flush affected areas with plenty of clear water and seek medical attention. The device contains a Li-ion battery. Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on. Caring supervision is required when the device is used at / for / or near children or disabled persons. Do not use spare parts that are not recommended or sold by the vendor. If the device does not work properly, has been dropped, damaged or dropped into water, do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs may only be performed by an authorized service center. Never allow the product to come into contact with chemicals, hair dye or hair color. Never try to remove dust and foreign objects from inside the device with a pointed object. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
